Teaching Goals

  • To instill a love of learning in every student by encouraging exploration, critical thinking, curiosity, and creativity
  • To differentiate instruction so that all students have an equal opportunity to flourish
  • To provide students a safe, caring, and welcoming environment that encourages both social and academic growth
  • To promote inclusion and respect for everyone

My Interests

I received my Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Teaching with a license in K-6 elementary education at Hollins University.  In addition to teaching, my passions include learning about other cultures, traveling, backpacking, hiking, and photography.
